Bengaline Stretch Woven - Viscose/Nylon Blend - Aubergine Solid (Brushed)

Bengaline is a very stretchy and form-fitting material popular for fitted pants, dresses and other clothing items.

Its mix of viscose, nylon, and spandex, results in a fabric that is not only stretchy but also maintains its shape exceptionally well. This elasticity ensures a flattering, form-fitting look that contours to the body comfortably.

One thing to look out for with Bengaline is that due to the special twill weave and fiber composition, the stretch of the fabric off the bolt runs along the selvage edge (vertical). Commonly this fabric is cut at a 90 degree rotation from your usual cutting direction to accomodate the largest amount of stretch with the movement of the body.
